The Learn to Sail (LTS)

LTS Program offers two levels of instruction.

Level I is designed for novice sailors who have little or no sailing experience. The only prerequisite for Level I is that the student pass a swim test. The Level I program is designed to teach the basics of sailing and sailboat maneuvering. The student will also learn basic sailing terminology. Level II The prerequisite for enrollment in Level II is completion of the Level I lesson, or demonstration of basic sailing skills that are taught at Level I. The Level II lesson will teach students how to recover from a tip-over, the basic right of way rules, how to sail upwind to the windward mark, and how to tack and jibe under control in a variety of wind conditions.

LTS fees are: $125 per week, $195 for each two-week (25 hours in the mornings) group lesson
